Dosa Flour – Rice and Lentil (750g)
This special blend of rice and urad dhal enables you to make perfectly naturally fermented dosa batter, making the kind of dosa you love to eat.
This packet makes approximately 15 dosas.
Preparation method:
Add 950ml of water to a container/bowl, add the packet of dosa flour and whisk until smooth. You can use a blender or hand whisk if available. Place in a container large enough to hold double the volume, cover and leave in a warm place to ferment for 8-12 hours or until you can see bubbles and volume has increased. If the batter doubles in size, whisk and place in fridge until needed.
Fermentation period may vary according to the room temperature. Add salt to taste when ready to cook.
