Our Story

Dosa Deli was born in 2012, following extensive travels of South India.

Run by husband and wife team Amy & Kristian, we love combining our passion for Indian cuisine with the excitement of the UK festivals scene.

Inspired by our travels of Southern India, we create food that is a blend of authentic flavours with a twist on the traditional. We have a deep love for places such as Bengaluru, Mysore, Chennai, Madurai, Kannur and Kochi to name just a few; these places blow our minds, the flavours, the smells, the busyness of life. The authentic darshini’s (no frills, quick service restaurants) found in Bengaluru are a huge part of our inspiration, the food is banging and consistent. Some of our favourite places has been operating for over 60 years places such as Vidyarthi Bhavan, and MTR; to name just a few. The dosa and tiffin items are mind blowing tasty. I can only dream of making dosa as good as theirs.

We aim to bring a little taste of South India to the fields in the UK, and pay homage to some of (in my opinion) best restaurants/hotels in the business.

Our food is 100% vegetarian with authentic dishes as well as a few twists such as our chilli cheese dosa, and our sambhar chutney.

These days we can be found at festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD, Greenman, Shambala and End of the Road.
